Pictures are composed correctly with 3 people because pictures are normally not so awkward with 3 people rather than an even 2.And I like how there is very little dynamic tension. -Marissa Hanson
They are not all in a perfectly strait line and the angle helps to give the photo depth. They're not in the center of the photo either so it makes it more interesting. Lauren

The two ladies are on the line of rule of thirds while the man is on the intersecting point of the rule of thirds lines.
